In the spirit of giving, Masterton Trust Lands Trust (MTLT) has joined with Eastwood Motor Group to spread a little joy this festive season.
Trust Chair Christine Brewster launched the Community Christmas Tree initiative last year. “The Trust is all about supporting Masterton people so the concept of community gifting for Christmas is a natural fit.” she explains.
This year the Trust is partnering with Masterton car dealership Eastwood Motor Group. General Manager Gary Allan was eager to team up with the Trust to bring the festive spirit to local families in need this Christmas.
Tree decorators Suzie Wilmshurst and Jo Scott transformed the Trust’s reception area into a festive display with five gorgeous trees and several hampers – ready to receive gifts and spread Christmas cheer.
Wrapped and labelled gifts for children can be popped under the trees between 9am-5pm at the Trust Building, 189 Queen St (opposite Farmers).
